Meet, Confer, Collaborate is an existing procedure between Asheville City Association of Educators and Asheville City Schools that give ACS staff a formal, recognized voice in district decision making through their union, ACAE.
ACAE is the one of two local unions that has won this procedure with their school district and we use it to collaborate on equal footing with school district leadership, leading to worker-based impacts in the way Asheville City Schools operates.
The ACAE MCC team meets 8 times a year at the ACS Central Office, 85 Mountain Street. The meeting is open for all ACS employees to observe.
